A Wiki Pitfall

This week in EDU 651 we focused on some of the pitfalls of using a Wiki. A wiki is a great tool but it is not considered a trusted source in the world of academics. For example, many universities will not accept citations from wikis like Wikipedia. Wikipedia, although it seems to be a wealth of knowledge, is known for letting anyone update its articles which essentially takes away its credibility.
